Our toddler rooms are full of active little learners. So much happens between the ages of one and three; we help make the transition easier. Children in these rooms enjoy structured free play with teacher guidance and interaction. The majority of their time is spent playing and interacting with their friends and teachers.
At meal and snack times, children and teachers sit together and enjoy a relaxing meal and learn proper table manners.
Our caring and patient teachers work with the children to develop their social skills and awareness of others. They develop lessons and plan daily activities that will help to build your child’s vocabulary and enhance other basic language and literacy skills. We promote phonological awareness through circle time, reading, singing songs and doing finger plays. Toddlers sit down together to enjoy story/circle time and monthly themed activities.
We believe that children are natural learners and they will learn most effectively in an environment of love, trust, support and stimulation. This is the environment that we strive to provide for your child. Parents will receive daily written and verbal communication regarding all the important information about your child’s day.
Lastly, we believe that consistency and predictable days help contribute to toddlers becoming confident, eager, life long learners!
