Infant Environment
You will find our Infant Room bright, inviting and warm. Our youngest children enjoy individualized attention and personalized space. Our classroom provides an area for floor time, tummy time and lots of crawl space to explore. There is also a quiet area for rocking, swinging, and resting. We use bouncy seats and exersaucers to promote gross motor activity. We have low shelving so infants can independently reach toys and pull themselves up safely. We also enjoy outside fresh air daily, whether on the playground or out for a walk.
Parents receive daily written and verbal communication regarding all the important information about your child’s day. In addition to meeting the daily nurturing needs of your child, our teachers will read, sing, and encourage him/her to explore and develop his/her cognitive skills.
While we believe that enhancing each child’s development is a major goal within our care, the most important goal is to build a strong relationship with you and your child.
